VWBPE 2019 Call for Volunteers

Come and re:Vision education in virtual environments @ VWBPE 2019!

Be an essential part of educational innovation.

Join our team to support the virtual world educational community! Volunteers are needed to help with the annual Virtual Worlds Best Practices in Education (VWBPE) conference. Our volunteers come from a wide array of backgrounds, countries, and cultures. We need dozens of individuals like you, to support many essential areas at the conference, from greeting participants to mentoring presenters to streaming presentations.

As a volunteer, not only do you get to help us promote and share educational approaches in virtual worlds, but you have an opportunity to connect with thousands of conference attendees. The 2019 conference reflects on the past to conceptualize a better future. Through re:Vision we can inspire innovative ideas for collaborative education in immersive environments. As a re:Vision Volunteer, you will be a part of the connectivity for innovation.

VWBPE will be held April 4 – 6, 2019. We would love to have you volunteering your time and skills and join the re:Vision team!

Roles are:

• Hosts (Meet & Greet)
• Mentors
• Quadrivium Assistant
• Quadrivium Facilitator
• Stream Team and
• Technical Support

Minimum time commitments are 1 hour shifts. Training for volunteers will begin in mid March for most positions. One of our team will contact you with information about training, schedule sign-ups and volunteer activities that you will be invited to attend.
